Worldwide Security Exchange has been conceived and developed by Mike Fairley, founder of Labels & Labelling International magazine, Product & Image Security magazine, as well as Package Print & Design and Docuforms International titles. He formed Labels & Labelling Consultancy in 1984 and was also the co-founder of LTSI (now known as Product & Image Security Foundation), the worldwide product and image security organisation which now has more than 110 members worldwide, as well as being co-founder of Security Solutions Consultancy. Additionally, he has spoken at or chaired numerous product and image security conferences over the past ten years or so and is currently researching and writing and international encyclopaedia for the label and related industries. Based on more than twenty years of knowledge and information on all aspects of labels, packaging and security products and technology, the site has been developed in conjunction with the co-partners as a quick, easy-to-use tool for brand owners, law enforcement agencies, organisations, Government bodies and suppliers of security solutions. Formalisation of the website tree, graphic design and website construction has been carried out by Concept Design Consultancy Ltd. Website Design Costs Although precise costs cannot be given, we have outlined here the likely charges for constructing an average small commercial internet site. This would consist of some five pages containing text, links and images. All original text and images should be supplied by the client, these will be made to conform most suitably to the vagaries of the internet. For this a charge of between £2,500 and £4,500. Additional charges that should be taken into account are those for securing a domain (around £50 [£100 for ".com" sites]) and those for having the site hosted on the Internet (around £300 per annum). Great care should exercised when undertaking this part of the site - our experts will be willing to discuss this further. One of last costs is that for search engine success - the ability to get found on the world wide web! This is NOT a precise science and there are many pitfalls, but perhaps the best piece of free advice is NOT to rely on the Internet to sell your Internet site! |
