About Worldwide Security Exchange

The global resource for counterfeit deterrence, brand protection and product authentication.

Established at the end of 2000, the Worldwide Security Exchange is being developed as a global resource which can be searched by brand owners, enforcement agencies, governments, intellectual property owners and solutions providers. It's aim is to offer a searchable worldwide data-based web site providing information on all aspects of the problems, requirements, enforcement and solutions relating to counterfeit deterrence, brand protection, document and product authentication, as well as anti-tamper and anti-theft solutions.

Provided on a joint basis by six key security-related organisations, worldwidesecurityexchange.com is a unique internet-based exchange built up from knowledge and data collected over more than 10 years and as a continuously ongoing project. Product & Image Security Foundation
Founded in 1991, the Foundation (previously known as Label & Tag Security International) is a non profit making organisation with some 115 members, primarily security solutions providers, in 17 countries. The Foundation offers members a regular magazine and newsletters, a members'handbook, training courses, reduced cost attendance at security conferences, introductions to organisations seeking materials and technology solutions and marketing support or assistance. Labels & Labelling Consultancy
was initially set up in 1984 to provide information, market research, training and market strategy support to the label industry. In 1989 it broadened its activity into researching the problems of counterfeiting, tampering and theft, looking at solutions to these issues which involve labels. Today, it also researches and writes techno-economic and market research studies on security related topics ranging from counterfeit deterrence, brand protection, product authentication, source tagging and international crime. Tarsus Exhibitions and Publishing
The Tarsus Group plc acquired the Labelex/Cowise Group in 1998 and has continued to organise the successful series of product and image security conferences that were first established in 1989 by Labelex/Cowise, and has also introduced additional conferences on RFID. Now run under the names of PISEC, these highly regarded conferences provide a key global resource for all those involved in brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, authentication, tamper resistance and retail theft. Product & Image Security magazine
was founded three years ago and has rapidly become the definitive journal for everything to do with brand protection, authentication and deterrence across printing technologies, packaging and digital imaging.
