FESI, Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry, defend European sports manufacturer's interest vis-a-vis the European Institutions in Brussels. FESI provides precise and early information on European sport and trade policies and on all topics with the direct or indirect impact on the economic activity of the European sporting goods industry - including issues of intellectual property and brand protection.

FESI represents the National Federations of Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and The United Kingdom, as well as individual members.Each federation counts for between 100 and 600 sports goods manufacturers whose products range from sports equipment to sportswear, including shoes; camping equipment, such as tents and furniture; as well as garden furniture and fishing tackle. In total, FESI represents some 85% of the European sporting goods market with around 1800 companies.

FESI has 9 working committees which are composed of national manufacturers and are involved in the publication of FESI common position papers. The committees include an FESI Intellectual Property Rights Committee.
